Starting Point Class
If you’re new, Starting Point is a great place to get to know FBC. This is a 4-week course that will introduce you to First Baptist, get to know one another better, and help you understand God’s priorities for the local church – knowing God, enjoying God and making God known—and how our various ministries support these priorities. Our next class will meet for 4 Sundays in November (2, 9, 16, 23) from 9 - 10 AM.

Boxes will be available in the foyer beginning Sunday, October 2 through November 6. Packed shoeboxes will be due back on Sunday, November 13.

Join us for this wonderful evening where we gather to celebrate the birth of our Savior. This year's theme is "Giving Thanks in an unpredictable world." Various individuals and families will lead us in giving thanks to God through music, skits, and celebration.

THE MYSTERY ON THE POLAR EXPRESS
Do you love mysteries? Solving puzzles? Working as a team? Then book a time slot today to solve the mystery of the Polar Express. A team can have a maximum of 8 players, $120 per team (regardless of number of players). All proceeds will be donated to Operation Christmas Child.

Are you 55 or older? Join us for our J.O.Y. monthly lunch on November 19 at 11:00 AM. We will be meeting in the CAC for a potluck. Feel free to bring anyone, any age!! Our theme will be Being Thankful. We will be collecting items for Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes, if you wish to bring something. We will also have a Memory Show 'n Tell, please bring a special item(s) from you past to share if you'd like to participate.

The book of Matthew. In a world filled with competing ideas and distractions, Christians must continually return to the words of Jesus to find focus, purpose, and the foundation for a flourishing life. Through parables and stories, Jesus revealed that the Kingdom of God is what truly matters—it defines who we are and what we do as His followers. The Kingdom is eternal, calling believers to enjoy and imitate Christ while actively cultivating His kingdom on earth. This study will examine the Kingdom that has come, how to enter and live within it, its culture and community, the ways to expand it, and the future fulfillment of the Kingdom that is still to come.

Adults - Men and Women
Colossians: The Sufficiency of Christ. As we encounter difficulties and trials living in the modern world, there seems to be an unlimited barrage of opinions, philosophy, and science that purport to have the answers to our problems. Which one(s) can really help us and which will lead us into further trouble? This, however, is not only a modern phenomenon. The church at Colossae in the first century was struggling with the same issues. Greek philosophy suggested that believers should shun material comforts and search for the secret knowledge of God. Long-standing Jewish authorities insisted that maintaining the dietary and ritual customs of the Mosaic law was needed to rise above earthly struggles. But the true answer, as Paul sent to the Colossians, is the same answer for us today: the risen Christ is our all-sufficient Savior who “disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them.” Join us as we remind ourselves through this letter how we can ground ourselves in the life of Christ and rely solely on Him in our times of need.

Apologetics 101. Have you ever struggled with sharing the Gospel because you didn't quite know what to say or how to answer someone's question or handle someone’s argument against what you believe? For the next 8 weeks, join us as we actively see what the work of an evangelist looks like. How is apologetics used in evangelism, and what are practical ways to get back to the gospel when there are opposing views? We will look into the value and how-to’s of sharing with friends and family, as well as maintaining your zeal in evangelism.

Men
The book of Zechariah - Over the next 16 weeks, the men will explore the Book of Zechariah, a powerful prophetic book written to encourage God's people during the rebuilding of the temple. Through vivid night visions and messianic oracles, Zechariah proclaims God's unwavering faithfulness, calling His people to repentance while promising restoration, cleansing, and the coming of a humble King who rides on a donkey--ultimately fulfilled in Jesus Christ. We'll discover how this book points to Christ as our Priest-King who atones for sin, builds His church, and will one day return to make all things new, offering enduring hope rooted in God's grace.

Youth (7th - 12th grade)
Students ages 12-18, grades 7th-12th, study the word of God, inviting Him to shape their lives into the image of His Son, Jesus Christ, thereby gaining wisdom and growing in knowledge and understanding.
