FBC Update 5.15.20

Hey FBC,You blessed the support staff at MERCY Washington in a tremendous way. 100 meals to thank them all for their service to our community during National Hospital week. Way to go and thank you. We will be looking for more ways to show our community that the church cares and is thinking about them during this strange time we are in.

This Sunday, we will continue to live-stream our service. About 50 of us will gather here on campus. We have space for all those who were interested in gathering in the building together. Our goal is to add as many more of you who are interested in the weeks to come.

All precautionary measures we know to put in place are being implemented. Seating is 6ft apart. Restrooms are not open at this time. The building is being sanitized after use and all touch points are disinfected daily. Masks are not required yet certainly welcome. We encourage you to share any concerns or ideas with us as we seek to move forward safely and conscientiously.

Prayer meeting this Wednesday night will be held on the campus as well as hosted on ZOOM. Please join us as we are encouraged by the Word of the Lord and blessed as we share and pray for each other’s needs. Remember, restrooms will be closed and social distancing is in place if you plan on attending this week.

Watch for more info in the days ahead as we make plans for a church wide Pinewood Derby to be held when the social distancing restrictions are lifted. This will be a great way for us to encourage our friends and neighbors now and celebrate together when the restrictions are lifted.

Until then, may the Lord continue to bless you.

Because of Christ,

Pastors Bob and John
